Delivering School Supplies to poor communities

While working at Quiet Waters Elementary school from 2006-2009, I notice that at the end of every school year, teachers would throw away dozens of big black plastic bags full of crayons, pencils, books on the trash! That was heart breaking for me. One year, I asked them to give them all to me. I had to triage most of it and put then in small bags so we could give to them individually. In the summer of 2011, my son Nicolas and I we took it to Brazil and distributed in a city in the mountains called Mulungu. There were hundreds of children. The pictures really do not show it because I was so overwhelmed with it ,so I could only take a couple of picture.
